Initiators:

Klaus Fasold

Klaus Fasold has 26 years of experience on both sides of the desk - in international agencies and as head of marketing on the corporate side. He founded his own agency in the Frankfurt area in 1997 and has been based in Munich with his agency Panthere GmbH since 2004. His mission is the successful presentation of companies and brands.

Rainer Plum

Rainer Plum is one of the “original rocks of the German organic movement” and has been for more than 30 years now. He founded the natural cosmetics brand TAUTROPFEN together with his wife Silvia in 1980. His mission is to promote and support ethically exemplary initiatives and companies in order to make our planet a better place to live in and to preserve it for the next generations.

Editorial staff:

Leo Frühschütz

studied journalism at the university and learned about environmental policy in the Green party. He has been writing on organic farming, genetic engineering, climate change and other environmental issues for expert magazines and consumer magazines for 20 years.

His motto: if you want to change the world, you have to start with the man in the mirror. Everyday, the father of three girls realises that this can be really difficult. “But it’s worth the effort.”

Margit Michels

Journalist characterised by fashion and the market, changes residences frequently across the European continent; primarily a resident of Italy at present – for the sake of the family. Hobby-horse ‘jeans’ inspired her interest for fashion recycling, of her own wardrobe as well. Writes / creates concepts / does the coordination for specialist and public magazines, museums/exhibitors and fashion archives. Motto: pazienza e rispetto reciproco (= patience and mutual respect)

 Annette Sabersky

is a dietician and works as a freelance journalist and book author in Hamburg. She worked for a consumer magazine called Öko-Test for many years and acquired a critical viewpoint about all topics concerning organic food and the food industry. She has written several informative books. The latest: "Die Großen Ernährungslügen. Essen mit Nebenwirkungen" ("The big lies about food. Eating with side effects" (with Jörg Zittlau/published by Droemer).

Her motto: Experience good things and write about them. But don't sweep unpleasant things under the carpet. That is why she is glad when her sons (6 and 9 years) say, "Organic cows have a better life," but also, "What they say about fruit yoghurts in the commercials is just a load of bollocks."

 Petra Schildbach

A graduate oecotrophologist, Petra worked at a publishing company for special magazines after her practical training. Initially, she was a feature editor and head of the department in the hotel and fashion sector before she became a freelance journalist in 1990. Her themes and main points of interest focus at present on living, design and lifestyle. In addition, Petra Schildbach advises and looks after companies in the hotel industry and gastronomy with regard to press and public relations work services.

Always open to new challenges and curious about change and developments, she swears by Francis Picabia: “Our heads are round so that our thinking can change directions.

Stefanie Sperling

Is an editor and biographer today. After her studies in German, American studies and literature at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, she worked as PR editor for several agencies. In 2004, she became a freelancer with BUCHstäblich Service and has been writing, planning and publishing biographies for private people since then - a totally private form of sustainability...

Furthermore, she works as a freelance editor for Frankfurter Neue Presse and several nationwide agencies. She spends her spare time with her dog Bilbo in the beautiful landscape of Wetterau. Her motto: "There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come." (Victor Hugo)... In this spirit: a good start for new ethics!
